First post: how can we REALLY help the Ukrainians? I mean money, aid, how?

Or is it just impossible currently? I want like hell to help but haven't the foggiest besides praying over and over. I know help is on the way from us and many other countries but there's got to be something we can do to help them through this. Just feel helpless....

I've never donated much until the election two years ago but now? I'm getting ready because despite making mediocre money as a teacher I'm prepared to go above and beyond.

They provide all kinds of supplies and assistance to people displaced by conflicts or natural disasters.

Our operations in the country are among the ten largest ICRC operations worldwide with a team of over 600 staff members. Working closely with the Ukrainian Red Cross Society, we are increasing our response to the humanitarian needs in Ukraine. Our support to people includes emergency assistance such as food, water, and other essential items. We also support hospitals and primary healthcare facilities with medical equipment and emergency preparedness. We repair water stations and support households to rehabilitate their damaged homes. We also help families separated by the conflict reconnect.

The humanitarian organization aims to raise $20 million and help at least 4 million Ukrainians. It says it will prioritize women and girls, families and the elderly."

REELECT DEMOCRATIC MAJORITIES.

Other than that, money's the obvious, donated to whatever type of help suits. Refugees, resistance groups, medical aid, etc, etc.
