1. Hate Training works.

Back in 2017, a guy 2-feet taller and half my age wanted to rip me in two because I was wearing a Bernie Sanders T-shirt. We were in a museum in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I was looking at a Tetons DIA Rama, when I saw this skinny Bigfoot staring toward me. The second he saw it, his expression turned to rage. The guy looked at my face and was bringing up his hands toward me and his wife grabbed his arms.

He was spitting mad. I laughed at him, which got him angrier.

2. They think that socialism is providing free lunches to school children

Actually socialism is the gov owns/controls the means of production.

They think that cancel culture is tolerating and respecting other cultures to peacefully co-exist with their culture.

They think that wokeness is being aware that people of color are denied the same privileges as white-racist evangelicals.

It is republicans, not democrats, who constantly wage the culture war. Note that they see it as a "war."

4. It's not correct that socialism means the government owns production.

It's a lot more complicated than that.

5. Classic definition of socialism

a political and economic theory of social organization which advocates that the means of production, distribution, and exchange should be owned or regulated by the community as a whole.

I would go so far as to say that social services and resources paid for with taxes is a form of socialism. That would include things like the post office, interstate highway system, state and local public education, city garbage collection, fire and police depts, public parks.
