• gotten the Republican candidate for U.S. president to employ a campaign manager who had previously worked to destabilize Ukraine.

• gotten the Republican candidate for U.S. president to change the party's platform to water down support for Ukraine.

• gotten the Republican U.S. president to try to shake down the president of Ukraine in a favors-for-arms scandal.

• gotten the Republican U.S. president to campaign for his reinstatement to the G8 after he was kicked out for invading Crimea.

• gotten the Republican U.S. president to publicly state that he trusted Putin more than he trusted U.S. intelligence.

• gotten the Republican U.S. president to threaten to pull out of NATO.

Sending Dr. Fauci wouldn't have worked, because only in America do we have enough whining douchebags like Matt Gaetz who are willing to destabilize their own country just because they were asked to help stop a deadly pandemic by wearing a mask and getting a vaccine.

Maybe I'm just impatient, and "these things take time".

But I'm so tired of hearing about how some Republican asshole has been caught with his hands in the jar, then a lot of fluster, stories in the media, followed by calls for resignations. etc. A day, a month, a year, 2 years, go by until its out of the news cycle for good. Somehow nothing ever becomes of it.

I have the same faith in any investigation into Trump or his family's business, or his role in the insurrection. Its so blatant now: If you are wealthy and/or politically powerful enough, you can get away with almost anything.

Sometimes I wish I'd rather not even know of the original accusations if they are going to eventually get off anyways. I was eager and ready to celebrate the charges against Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice etc too.
