Russia has S400 Anti Aircraft Missile Batteries on the Belarus side of the border and the Russian side of the border of Ukraine.

It's possibly the most advanced AA system in the world with a range of up to 400km depending on the missile type.

Anything from a helicopter to a MiG can be targeted and shot down with a Mach 6 projectile. If it flies (within the targeting range)... it's dead.

I'd bet the convoy is under an S400 umbrella.

If the US or UK puts cruise missiles on that convoy... and Russia puts a hypersonic missile into an aircraft carrier in the Med...

Is it worth it?

I haven't made that decision yet... and I'm happy I DO NOT have to make that decision as the actual leaders MUST.

So yes I know personally the cost of battle in a way that many others do not.

This is no longer a battle for Ukraine.

It is a battle for democracy.

Putin installed his puppet Trump as US president. And has bought off half the US government to form a shadow government. Without firing a shot. Fox News is Putin's propaganda arm.

Putin's puppets are working to take over US voting systems, state by state. Their goal is to establish white minority rule, permanent total power and control of US assets. Just like Putin did in Russia.

Putin was so successful weakening US democracy that he felt invincible enough to invade Ukraine.

At what point do we finally say enough is enough.

But are you willing to trade the destruction of that convoy for a US carrier and 4000 crew?

I'm not. Not in this case. Although I could possibly change my mind. But no for now.

This isn't 1942. If the tigers tangle, there will be damage.

So doubtful they will try to save anyone else.

I happen to think democracy vs fascism and autocracy is worth saving.
But I am somewhat alone in this thought process. I assume that the 21st century will see the rise of autocrats as world wide superpowers.

If the democracies of the world do not think it worth their time or effort to defend themselves then we deserve what we get.

Edit to add: BTW I am against most wars. I was againt the Viet Nam war even when my dad was there flying combat. I was against the US invasion of Iraq and endless wars in Afghanistan. So I am not pro war in the least. But sometimes wars or some fighting back is needed against tyrants and bullies who threaten our way of life.

Texas is real and GOTv isn't going to defeat voter nullification and anti access laws.

We either pressure our reps to break out of Cassandra Syndrome or we fall into Texas like dictatorship

Denial is a real thing here in the US.

I don't know what it will take to break through the denial. The GOP is hell bent on total permanent power and white christian minority rule. And working state by state to make it reality.

If that is not the case then yes why aren't the Ukrainians dropping bombs on the convoy.

they need a lot more of these.

https://www.middleeasteye.net/news/russia-ukraine-war-turkey-drone-strike-kherson-first-ever

Kyiv says it's has been using Turkish drones to strike Russia's invading forces.

On Saturday Ukraine's embassy in Turkey said that Ukrainian forces had struck a Russian military convoy in the southern city of Kherson using TB2 drones. Accompanying the post was a video purportedly showing the aftermath of the strike.

Earlier this month, Ukraine and Turkey signed a series of agreements, including a deal that would expand the production capabilities of Turkish drone-maker Baykar in Ukraine.
