I'm Wondering, What Is There To Negotiate?

Is it something other than Zelensky resigning, along with his entire administration, and the turning over of Ukraine to a puppet Russian regime?

We know what the Ukrainians want. They want Russia to stop bombing the shit out of them, and sending in occupying troops.

Obviously Pootie has pretty large goals to pursue this war, and it seems unlikely he would suddenly decide it was no longer important to achieve most or all of those goals, and negotiate something. Certainly not 1 week in.

I guess appearances have to be kept up, to make it look like efforts are being made, but just seems like a waste of time, at least right now.

In return, Russia pulls out and can claim victory for all I care. If it stops a nuke war, I'm all for it.

(1) Immediate withdrawal of all Russian troops from Ukraine, including Crimea, Donbas, and Luhansk,

(2) The Russian government arrest Putin and put him on trial for waging an aggressive war and ordering war crimes,

(3) The identification and trial of Russian commanders who have ordered war crimes, and

(4) Seizure of the assets of Putin and his oligarchs for the purpose of paying reparations (to be specified later) to compensate for loss of life and destruction of property.
