Let Ukraine join the EU immediately! Today! Now!

There is no time for delay, the people of Ukraine should be admitted into the EU immediately and protections of the EU should be extended to Ukraine instantly.

Membership in the EU does not translate into military protection.

Certainly, Ukraine should be admitted to the EU but it's an economic relationship, not a military treaty.

(NATO = North Atlantic Treaty Organization)

However it is unlikely the EU would commit forces directly into Ukraine, and this move more or less forces Putin into annexation.

NATO's charter says if one is attacked ALL will retaliate. yes? In this scenario how would NATO protect Ukraine? bang bang?
I'm at a loss for a solution..

to avoid a larger conflict. Putin wants to rebuild the ussr. He will not stop there. Hitler didn't stop and could not be appeased.

He's been attacking Western countries on a cyber level and changing election outcomes with impunity for years
