I've been asking for years how my generation's parents let us get where we are.

This shit has been happening for a long time. Rachel Carson warned us about our environment 60 years ago. ("Silent Spring" was published in 1962.)

Corporate and personal greed and stupidity are the reasons we are where we are.

account for it, whether a corporate executive or file clerk. Which is more unworthy? Trashing your own grandchildrens' futures because, above all, you oppose the government being able to tell you how to run your company? Or opposing because all you need to know about any issue is what side those wearing your jersey are on?

I'm in my 60s also, but my question since my teens has always been how can WE let this continue? I've always been proud of what action Democrats were able to make happen, most but not all before the national balance shifted toward the right at the end of the 1970s, and increasingly horrified that the opposition continued and even grew as this planetary catastrophe developed.

Right now, Biden's approval rating is in the 30s. How can that happen? If I were religious, I'd know.

That said, Biden would not be in such a low rank in the polls if not for two of our own. He has a wonderful agenda to address millions of Americans' needs and we must keep fighting to see it through, we literally have no other choice.

Good to see ya.
