If Putin were the genius that Trump thinks he is, he would know, that that kind of war brings people together, it does not make them cower and give up. I do not believe that the Ukrainians will ever lick Putin's boots like their neighbors in Belarus.

The US participated in terror bombing in Germany in WWII, bombing city centers, and residential areas. The bombings killed a hell of a lot of German women and children while the men were off fighting, but It was not a significant factor in defeating Nazi Germany. Even strategic bombing failed to stop German production until the last few months of the war, and by then the Thousand Year Reich was in its death throes.

For Putin to control Ukraine, he will have to have boots on the ground every ten feet, and then, the occupiers, nor the Russian homeland, will never be safe, and the Russian leadership will not regain its position of wealth and power. If Putin and the Russian people are willing to put all of their eggs in the China basket, all I can say is may Dog help them, because there will come a day, when the Russians will be fighting for their lives on the other side of their country.

It would be so simple to stop all of this nonsense, but it is going to have to be the Russian people to do it. They need to give Putin and his criminal gang the Mussolini treatment, and return to the world community where they would be welcomed and respected.
