Many of us change the channel immediately when they come on.

(2,336 posts)I'm sure Andrea Mitchel was great back in the day. She just seems befuddled and confused now. Not all the time but often enough it's annoying to watch. Her search for words drives me nuts. It's past time for her to retire and Chuck Todd is just strange. He'd be better off at CNN

(7,840 posts)I purposefully avoid MSNBC during those couple of hours when I know those two will be on.
This also leads me to inadvertently avoiding MSNBC the entire afternoon as well, since once I switch to another channel -- usually CNN -- I just end up staying on that channel since I get invested in their shows and reporting.

(1,654 posts)She's apparently considered a "prestige" commentator because of her longevity and contacts, even though most progressives despise her (although not as many as despise Chuck Todd), but also that's the time many people tune into their local stations' noon news if they want local news along with national news. Why they even keep Chuck Todd around at all, not to mention on the Sunday slot of Meet The Press, is a mystery to me. He must do some fluff job on management because I don't even respect him, must less like him.

Her longevity I guess explains it...
