My opinion: Putin WAS NOT baited into starting this war.

That is not who he is. He is a master of psychological warfare and knows how to prey on people's weaknesses to get them to do his bidding. He is NOT the one who gets goaded into a war, especially from an American president who is just trying to warn people to prepare for Putin's intent to strike.

Remember, our president did not heed the warnings for 9/11. That is a lesson that we learned. And we have far more intelligence on Putin today, than we ever had on Bin Laden.

Of course not. The only ones I've heard suggesting that were Putinistas/Trumpists on RW media. hlthe2b Mar 2022 #1

Putin should have minded his own damn business and accept that you get what you get.

The people saying this stupidity are the type of people that would tell a beaten woman she shouldn't have said hello to her husband.

What twisted batshit logic is that? Biden told Putin, "Are you going to let Ukraine get away with it?"

He’s a conniving smug weaseling little asshole. Course being a KGB guy, odds are he’s an evil psychopath/sociopath like our favorite con man, liar and a cheat. He knows fully well what he’s up to. He and TFG deserve each other.

He’s not a genius, just an evil prick like his BFF TFG. The only thing he’s accomplished is stealing billions along with his scumbag oligarch buddies from the Russian people. Hey maybe the Russian people may be so upset with him over this, they happily decide to Mussolini him.

He owned a sitting US president, half the congress and the US media.

All of this emboldened him to start taking over Europe. He felt he could shift world power and emerge as a strong, feared 21st century superpower. He would take control of the West, China would control the East. This has been planned for quite some time.

Putin thought it was a slam dunk.

Biden was only describing what was happening. He didn't have the power to control Putin or make it happen.

group saying what putin did was okay, it seems to be universally condemned no matter the political side the person is on. yes there are a few idiots saying it but not any groups.
