These children were detained by Russian security forces for bringing flowers to the Ukrainian embassy in Moscow, according to Novaya Gazeta, one of the few remaining independent news organizations there.

… a cute little kid. They are supposed to be terrified they’ll never see Mommy and Daddy again. They are supposed to never even think about doing that again.

This is in the Dictator Handbook. Which some of our politicians have on their bedside tables. Ask Gov Abbott about seizing children.
