There is some understanding that the situation is not tenable, but the emotional involvement overwhelms the part of the brain that would make the rational decision to terminate the relationship.

This is why when you have abusers, grifters, and con artists, you see the same pattern and approach. They challenge your sense of power, they tell you how special you are, and how the other "sheep" are blah blah blah. It is a script meant to arouse the person's emotions.

I have a Facebook account because I am in animal rescue and that is the main path for communication via rescue groups. I lurk on the page of this former high school classmate (see upthread). The extremes that they go to are just amazing.

What I can’t figure out is - if the cabal does all of this terrible stuff because the motivator is money and power, how do they rationalize that no one else (like a journalist) would want money and power by exposing the cabal? Their logic is flawed, obviously, yet they certainly don’t see that.

I only use it to keep track of grandkids and such postings.

But just click on those three little dots in the upper right corner of any post and you can alert on it.

Don't know how much good it does, but at least some human at FB may eventually look at it.

I never hesitate to alert on that kind of bs post.
