(182,271 posts)Jet fuel actually in the unit I was in (Bradley and M1 mix per platoon). They at least topped off everyday. Some of it was almost superstition, some of it was being fully loaded should we need to move a lot in the coming days.

(25,896 posts)Once started, hard to stop. Galeev explains so much about what Russia/Putin have decided to do (and not do) and why. The concluding discussion of mythos is fascinating. The only issue (a big one) left unaddressed is the lack of air support. It's strange that he doesn't mention it.
