Governor Ron DeSantis is once again mud-slinging while refusing to take concrete steps to address the problems in his own backyard.

The Florida Republican is refusing to divest the Sunshine state of $300 million in Russian-owned companies – investments it controls – while attacking President Joe Biden on Ukraine and Russia, as The New York Daily News reports.

DeSantis was notably silent for days after Russia attacked Ukraine but finally decided to weigh in – by attacking President Joe Biden while praising Trump.

Hey DeSatan, you stated this.... On Monday DeSantis declared, “when Trump was president" Russia "didn’t take anything.”

We'll your wrong and your misinformation is a lie, in your authoritarian fascist buddy gave classified information to the Russian and they took it....it happened in the Oval Office....and since you will not divest the states interest from a authoritarian ()*^$%#* in invading UKRAINE and you have immigrants from there living in your state, your basically aiding and abetting a dictator and terrorist .....your a (*&^%$#.....

from the federalist society decided the Citizens United was a good thing for dark money to be inverted in US Policies as free speech.
He and that group should in a lot of respects, have this handed to them and say what do you think...is money free speech, because its really twisted logic sure has corrupted a democracy based on greed and hidden force's that in essence support the oligarchic mind set....of authoritarian fascists rule for more greed....

If he should decide to toss his hat in the ring. He'll lose big time.

I was thinking his approval rating was higher? Maybe i'm wrong on this. I COULD NOT live in Florida, NO WAY! (that is until he and his followers were voted OUT.)

Truth be known, I am most likely invested in those Russian companies, as I am in the Fl. state retirement system. Not a thing that I can do about it. What you have to wonder is, besides the ethics of the investments, what is the value of those investments going to be in the short and long run? Don't get me wrong, I don't want to be invested in Russian concerns whether is makes or costs me money.

If the governor was not a dyed-in-the-wool Fascist, he would direct the investment system to sell the Russian portfolio. But seeing as he is trying to impress the Putin-is-a-Hero gang, he will not do that. I do not believe that there has been a worse person, as governor, in the history of the United States.
