I keep thinking of that story of his father came to meet him for a baseball game and Don Jr. was dressed casually for a baseball game and his father smacked him to the ground and told him to put on a suit and meet him outside to go to the game. That was ONE story. That other people saw in public.

I imagine that there were many others like that throughout his life like that and that his addictions and asshole-ishness is a result of being raised by people like Donald and Ivana Trump.

I know he has a choice now as an adult, but I think he is just too far gone to help himself. It's just sad because assholes beget assholes and I hope his children don't end up being like him. He could be redeemable if he would be willing to give in and dis-associate from his pathetic faher.

I don't think anyone in the family ever cared much for the guy in the first place, so they aren't likely to alter their lives to help him out now. Of all the kids, I think his father was the hardest on him, seeing him as a grave disappointment. In many ways, I think he may be like Fred Trump Jr. and could be headed down the same destructive path. Maybe that is what Donald saw.

But something has changed and I now see him as a sad victim of his father.

He is a damaged child of an abusive, horrible father and an absent, uncaring mother. I honestly have compassion for him and I really wish there was someone in his life who would get him some help.
