AirBnB CEO on with AriMelber. Kudos to them working to host displaced Ukranians free. However . . .

. . . . . the guy is wearing a black T-shirt with a badly stretched collar. Dude, you can afford a new T-shirt, I'll bet.

But what a gesture. Mentioned his parents are social workers.

He sounds like lib to me! 👍 😁

she already took blankets and stuffed animals and spare clothes to a port city of Isaccea between Romania and Ukraine... plus 500 EU. There were maybe 2000 Ukrainians there at the port, with more arriving every hour.

We have been talking... tomorrow she will rent another apartment there for 3 months in Bucharest and we will list it with airbnb.org for a family or 4 or so. Plus money for utilities and food. I will donate like $1000 EU a month, she will contribute another $200 EU.

Rent there for a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom place is around $600 EU to $800 ( less in the hinterlands like Lasi or Barlad ). We will rent in Bucharest because it is far from the Ukraine border and has a lot of resources including expat Ukrainian community.
