Former President Donald Trump has accused the media and some Republicans of ‘misrepresenting’ his remark that Russian President Vladimir Putin is a ‘genius’ in invading Ukraine.

Trump lashed out at so-called Republican In Name Only people and two other groups through his Save America political action committee on Tuesday, while reiterating his claim that Russia would not have invaded Ukraine if he was still president.

‘The RINOs, Warmongers, and Fake News continue to blatantly lie and misrepresent my remarks on Putin because they know this terrible war being waged against Ukraine would have never happened under my watch,’ Trump stated.

‘They did absolutely nothing as Putin declared much of Ukraine an “independent territory.”

Bullshit Donny boy. The Obama Administration put sanctions against Russia which you promptly removed when you took office.
