(4,352 posts)He can try to intimidate old ladies. I said try. This lady does not appear to be intimidated. She likely knows exactly what Pooyin is, and it's not a brave, strong, bare chested horse rider! He needs to have his ass handed to him on a platter.

Russian pensioner 'who survived siege of Leningrad' arrested for protest against Ukraine war
Yelena Osipova, an elderly activist who is said to have survived the infamous wartime siege of Leningrad, was marched away by a group of police in St Petersburg while she protested against the war in Ukraine. Thousands of people have been defying police threats and staging protests across Russia. Authorities have a low tolerance for demonstrations and marches, and attending them can have serious consequences including fines, arrests and even imprisonment

https://www.huffpost.com/entry/russian-police-reportedly-arrest-jail-children-protesting-war-against-ukraine_n_621facd4e4b025227d664fb3
Five Russian children protesting against their countrys military invasion of Ukraine were reportedly arrested and briefly jailed along with their mothers this week.
The kids, ages 7 to 11, were armed with flowers and a sign reading No War when they were taken into custody outside the Embassy of Ukraine in Moscow on Tuesday, NPR first reported.
Photos first posted by Alexandra Arkhipova on Facebook show the children behind bars. Arkhipova, a university researcher, said the kids and the two women were detained and brought to a police station.

... we didn't get to be in our 70s by being inconsequential ...
... and patience with silliness is pretty short ....
I have endured too many peace marches over the years...
