Most of my neighborhood was made up of immigrants (and refugees) from Eastern Europe. Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine, etc.
My heart goes out to the new refugees and I hope they can find a welcoming place to live (although there is no place like home).
Just as an aside, they loved to take care of their lawns and gardens. Please consider taking them in if you are in the position.
