Ukraine & Russia say they have agreed to temporary local cease-fires to create

“humanitarian corridors” so civilians can be evacuated & food & medicine can be delivered

This was reported earlier about the corridors but the cease-fire was new to me

That’s the only way to achieve a surrender/ occupation.
Maybe this is Putin’s way off slowly backing down?

But, Russia would never agree to this unless it had something up it's sleeve, or needs a rest. While the population flees, Russia is fixing the holes in its fuel tanks.

"Never let your enemy rest" is a basic maxim of war. Yes, Ukraine also gets to rest for a moment, but to me it just means a postponement of the destruction of Kiev and its people.
