Should have taken them out before they got nukes. The world would have been a different place. Imagine all of Eastern Europe like Western Europe. We probably would be much better off right now too without having to go through the idiotic Cold War and its aftermath.

Doesn’t really matter, that’s not what happened and here we are.

would have been stupid. It was actually Churchill's idea, but was still a bad one.

His public statements and writings leave no doubt. His demands that he take Prague and Berlin seem almost prescient now.

But, he was shot down, as he often was previously. His fellows knew he was a great warrior, but they also knew about his belief that he was the reincarnation of Julius Caesar.

It was a strange world back then, and we had no idea Stalin would become even crazier. Who would guess that our enemies, Germany and Japan, would become our best allies while our ally the Soviets become our worst enemy. And China, recovering from the Japanese occupation?

And there was the Truman Doctrine around that time. Truman had no use for Stalin and his messing with Europe.

What to do? What to do... Really tough to put ourselves back into that time...
