So if Russia blows up a Ukrainian nuclear power plant, will there still be no

Intervention? At what point do the costs of non intervention become greater than intervening? Will a nuclear attack on Ukraine still not be enough to intervene?

How do you militarily engage another nuclear power?

This situation would normally be handled by getting a third, non-nuclear country to engage them. Not sure what country would be able to do that in this situation without spurring Putin into using his nuclear threat to engage with them.

but THE RULE BOOK must be obeyed per 'the boys'. Fer Chrissakes. Coupla military type guys on MSNBC earlier today having a war discussion. If I heard the word "RULE" once I heard it 7 times. Now, if they would just come out and say fear of nukes by putin that would be one thing - but NO. So now that we are getting closer to frying our collective ovaries/testicles what may those conversations sound like? Burn me if you must.
