Serious question about the Ukraine nuclear emrractors under attack

If one gets hit and is ruptured resulting in a melt down, would this warrant a national alert here in the US.

Would I suddenly get an alert on my phone?

1. Probably not.

I'd imagine just news pushes unless you are in close proximity. 🤷🏻‍♀️

2. sky news says under attack plant is closed for repairs, not operating at the time but

it does of course have its full compliment of nuclear fuel in the system

for those not around for chernobyl, poland, belarus, the baltic states, parts of russia, and finland were affected.

right now the winds are blowing to the south southeast

so Crimea, Turkey, Georgia, Syria.. and parts of Russia ( Krasnodar ), Armenia, Azerbaijan,
