6. I'm thinking about letting the heads

Die off on the stems, and any seeds that the birds dont take can just fall to the ground and grow next year.

I save toilet paper tubes for raising sunflower seeds. Plant the whole thing, let the paper rot. Sort of works the same as a decaying Russian corpse I guess.
