And, also, as we see here in the US amongst FOXNews-only-watching public figures/politicians, there are a fuckton of very powerful people who theoretically have access to all of the relevant data who nevertheless remain ridiculously misinformed because they choose to consume an information diet composed entirely of bullshit. (Note: that in no way diminished their guilt)
