(4,393 posts)Ohio Sauerkraut Festival in Waynesville, Ohio every year, 2nd weekend in October, rain or shine. Have you ever been? Best homemade ones EVER! On a perfect weekend in SW Ohio, it has drawn about 350,000 for the 2 full-daytime craft and food extravaganza. You can easily find lots of links should you want to attend. Yeah, rural and "red," I know, but so worth the experience.
Otherwise, I've found best-tasting commercial ones at GFS in the frozen aisle. There's about 18 large rolls in the large aluminum tray, but once cooked according to directions in the oven, they won't last long, LOL!
Drag 'em out of the freezer on chilly winter days! Now that's comfort food!
