Pantsir S1 captured by Ukrainians near Bashtanka

Intact Pantsir S1 captured by Ukrainians near Bashtanka

The Ukrainian flag is to not draw friendly fire. But look at the mud at about 30 sec in. This mud will get worse and is what Putin and the Russian military did not want.

yup... if Ukraine wins this or forces a "draw"... they have ( oddly ) China to thank.

China forced Putin to wait until after the Olympics...

And the early thaw ( thanks global warming ) is turning all of central and northern Ukraine into a sea of mud. Those heavy vehicles really don't like mud. That is one of the main reasons the 40 mile convoy (sort of reminds me of the Borax 40 mule team) is still stuck. Normally the tanks and armored vehicles could just fan out across the fields and country side to reach their objective. Because of the mud they must stick to paved roads now. Sitting ducks if the Ukrainian army still had operating aircraft... or they had enough Turkish drones and / or anti-tank shoulder fired missiles like the javelin.

I really hope they get enough javelins before the convoy untangles and start moving again.

Just give them our old Cobra attack helicopters. Their missiles and cannon would be perfect to take out Russian armored vehicles. We built a thousand of them- are they still around anywhere?
