Ukraine's Fight for Freedom, which is showing on Netflix.
This is a documentary of the 2014 Revolution made by people who were inside the protests as they were occurring. The film gives us a greater understanding of what is happening there now - the incredible strength of the people and the betrayal and brutality by their president, Yanukovych, who they fought against to gain their freedom from Russia.
One thing not mentioned in the film is the role Paul Manafort played in gaining influence throughout the Ukranian government and helping elect Yanukovych. https://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2018/03/paul-manafort-american-hustler/550925/

(43,182 posts)Ukraine on Fire is by Oliver Stone, and feature and was funded by Victor Medvedchuk, a pro-Kremlin Ukrainian oligarch who was complicit with the Yanukovych government and is close friends with Vladimir Putin.
The misleading titles are intentional on Stone's part, IMHO.
