Florida's restrictive abortion bill about to become law after late night Senate vote

Ready for Governor DeathSentence to sign into law. No exceptions for anything after fifteen weeks.

Democrats opposed the ban, which doesn’t have exemptions for rape or incest. It does have exceptions for health reasons and fetal abnormalities.


But those exceptions usually involve tests given AFTER 15 weeks.

They wanted it to appear like Florida was conservative enough to justify legislation like this one.
