Truck convoy prepares to fuck up traffic on 90/94 in WI

A convoy of potentially 500 semitrucks and other vehicles is expected to drive through Wisconsin Friday into Saturday and will likely cause an influx in traffic along Interstate 90 and 94, authorities said.

Two groups of the American Truckers Freedom Convoy — which is protesting against mask and vaccine mandates and “in support of health freedom,” according to the convoy’s website — plan to meet in Oakdale Friday afternoon, then drive along I-90 through Portage and South Beloit, Illinois, according to the convoy’s route and the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office. The truckers are headed to Washington, D.C.

10. There are that many trucks everyday in a 5 mile stretch on 90/94. They slow

down other trucks they will just piss off fellow truckers. It shouldn't have anymore impact than three snow plows running side by side and they do that every time it snows up there.

I wish they'd think about the Ukrainian People that are being forced to leave their homes and belongings and flee their homeland with only the clothes on their backs. Not knowing what their future holds for them or whether or not they or their loved ones will live to the next day. Men - separated from their families and being conscripted into the Ukrainian Army to fight for their country.

You want something to protest about - now that's something to protest about.

These truckers must be proud of themselves - standing up to health personnel and a government that only want them to remain healthy. Being given the necessary tools that will help protect them and others from a deadly virus that has killed 900,000 + Americans.

These guys in these convoys - really look silly and lame. They are looking even more pathetic now that most of the mask mandates have been lifted around the country.

What are they thinking? Do they really think they have something to complain about?

Really - they should be thanking their lucky stars that they live in this country. In this democracy that allows them to clog up the highways and byways with silly protests.

They should be ashamed of themselves. Compared to the Ukrainian People - they look so shallow. So lame. So stupid. So pathetic.

Their 15 minutes of fame are over. No matter what they do or say they will be perceived as crybabies out to fuck up your day for no particular reason. The mandates are over, their freedoms are tantrums, and as they impede fire engines, ambulances, and vacationers they will foster contempt not compassion. Let’s hope they have lots GOP and TFG stickers on their rigs to help focus America’s rage.
