Barr Says Trump Was Responsible for Capitol Riots

Former attorney general William Barr said that he believes that former president Donald Trump is “responsible in the broad sense of that word” for for the Capitol riots on Jan. 6, 2021, the Washington Post reports.

Said Barr: “I do think he was responsible in the broad sense of that word in that it appears that part of the plan was to send this group up to the Hill. I think the whole idea was to intimidate Congress, and I think that that was wrong.”

As Putin is forced to austerity measures, he's cutting his American payroll. RT (Russia TV) and Barr are among the early casualties.

Justice matters.

I’m sure the committee will talk to him. He’s probably the most high profile witness so far, even if he wasn’t there on Jan 6. He knows the lead up to this.

I can’t stand the guy, but at this point, I’m glad for anyone who steps up with info on Trump’s plans, actions and behavior.

14. if charges were brought against trump, would Barr be a material witness?

he could go a long way toward debunking any "trump really thought the election was rigged, so he acted accordingly" nonsense.

Barr appears to be the most prominent witness, among many, that repeatedly told trump there was no election fraud. trump repeatedly ignored such realities and chose to live in an alternate universe. Not a good criminal defense.

15. Barr knows the Big Lie damage has been done, state legislatures are gutting voting rights

He helped with that legislation by lying about the dangers of mail-in voting before the election.

So voting rights are under attack, and the crazy cult followers are in place. Now he needs the republican base that didn't much like the capital attack back on board, so he's laundering like crazy. He also needs Trump out to make room for Pompeo. Barr is a terrible human being.

The press is doing a bad job questioning people like Barr. He fucking knew. He said nothing. Now he is trying to be a hero, fuck that.
