...but I stopped by Walgreen's last night to pick up a prescription. I inquired about a second booster since I use an immune compromising drug. The upshot was I left with my fourth vaccination. Whoo hoo! I know this isn't a big deal to you all, but I'm pretty jacked about it. It's really low key these days. I didn't even have my vax card with me. The pharmacist said "Don't worry about it. It's all on-line now. Anybody who needs it can look it up." I'm a little stiff and sore today, but no worse than the first three.

(6,251 posts)I'm also on an immunotherapy drug and had my first booster six months ago.
I kinda had to talk the pharmacist into that one. He finally looked up my drug...Humira. When he found it on the list there was no hesitancy. He called me "His first third." Since that time I have switched to Taltz.
I was browsing the CDC website looking for guidelines. In my case it was 5 mos since my booster. You should be good to go as well, but double check. [link:http://|https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/vaccines/index.html?s_cid=10496:cdc%20covid%20guidelines:sem.ga:p:RG:GM:gen]

(30,613 posts)I've had three; I will go with some other type if I do a fourth. Number three went pretty badly.

(14,627 posts)I'm jealous. I want a second booster and I am not immunocompromised.
Congratulations!
Gotta love DU.
