A note to the warmongering idiot fuckwads.

If you come to another country with guns and tanks, the people are NEVER going to welcome you with flowers and cheer your arrival.

NEVER. NEVER. NEVER. It doesn't matter if you think you are helping them. It's idiotic to think they would. So get that stupid thought out of your heads now and forever.

If you want people to welcome you, YOU bring the flowers, not them. Or some ice cream.

the context is a little different there though.

i was thinking about Bush invading Iraq and Putin invading Ukraine. those are invasions and both times they predicted they would be welcomed.

but your point is well taken and correct. there are situations where a foreign entity is needed and welcomed. thanks for the reminder.

(not a lot of 'liberation' actually comes from outside)

(Kuwait? Not sure if that had the actual citizens of the country as chief beneficiaries. Probably another exception proving the rule?)
(Serbia? Grudging welcome - in some quarters. Not hugely popular in any.)
