I just saw one of his video's on Twitter and found it very enlightening. It's a little on the long side, but fascinating and very watchable. Not a dull moment.

If you don't have the time to watch now, please kick for later watch. It's definitely worth it.

(4,886 posts)Along with great information about the grotesque extent of Russian money-laundering, you get a nice tour of London in this video.
Thanks for posting.

(63,221 posts)I like how you think. Just think of all those billionaire oligarchs having to deal with squatters in their homes and not being able to legally toss them out. Kind of like the Russian Revolution?

(63,221 posts)I really think this is a great video and don't think that most people are aware of this level of enabling of Russian criminal activity by the British government and how much they could do if they really wanted to stop it.

(25,976 posts)We have our own clutch of oligarchs running around with impunity. I also wonder if our new klepto unit, like the one Boris recently has set up, will actually try to do something or just be window dressing. The amount of money involved is so huge, it runs through so many countries, and touches so many 'untouchable' powerful people, it will be amazing if anything changes or gets done.
This level of money laundering as well as the means of hiding it in anonymous shell companies never should have been made so easy.
