I predict some interesting fallout from the Russian issue

I am expecting that an amazing amount of hacking, sock puppet, and conservative funding will disappear. A lot of the American rich with strong ties to Russia are not going to keep funding things that they don't see a profit in.

A lot of Republicans are not the type to do anything without a nice carrot or a sharp stick to guide them. So unless they have compromat, they will be changing their tunes quickly and looking for funding that they used to be able to count on. Even then, if compromat is keeping them in line, they will not have the same access to astroturf and donations for their campaigns.

Expect someone to have their compromat exposed and that someone to fall hard. Expect a few people to fall out of hotel windows or be poisoned by polonium. Moscow will need to show their assets that they cannot just sneak away. Even without Putin, the next Putin, unless there is a real change, will want to maintain the assets he still has.

The mid term elections will be interesting. Suddenly China and Saudi Arabia will be the only strong forces to prop up the Republican Party. I don't think either of them really love Trump, so we may see the Republican Party actually have to survive on donations from the masses and most of their masses would rather give to Trump and Trump does not share well with others.

My prediction is that the Tea Party 2.0 is going to be half Qanon and a quarter Sovereign Citizen, with KKK, Maga remnants and whatever is left filling in the chinks. In other words, we won't be able to tell them from the current Republican Party apart from a few less maga hats.

Their "Brandon" cry will make less and less sense as it alternates with "Her mail," and whatever new cry they come up with in hopes it sticks to the wall.

Beltway pundits will still be beltway pundits though, so the talk will not change that much and those who care about America, decency and progress will still be under constant attacks from lying idiots.

In any case, my prediction is that we will see a strong drop in Republican success at the top. If we can watch the local elections and get out the truth, we might protect towns and communities from electing a few more Qanon idiots, so we need to keep careful watch and try to keep communities from electing monsters.

State elections, I have no clue about, but I am hoping the crash of Republican-Russian investment portfolios expose what we have always known about Republican leadership.

These predictions are mostly good, but as always, watch the skys.

Afraid of financial fallout and legal liability related to their relationship with Russia.

Will the sanctions hurt the business deals they had hoped to have with Putin? How much money will they lose?

How will this impact their planned invasion of Taiwan?

Doing something just because you can and you love showing off your power, doesn't seem like such an attractive behavior right now? It can cost you a great deal of money. Something China most certainly does not want to contemplate.

If they start acting out their dream of being a 21st century superpower will the world turn on them like they did with Putin?

Will the US politicians they have bribed suddenly start getting nervous about taking money and doing favors?

Xi making an alliance with Putin was one of his rare mistakes. A very big mistake?

A. You're neglecting the influence of Wall Street and thousands of foreign high-wealth people and businesses that only care about business growth and profits and low taxes. I believe they are the real financial core of the GOP although most stay hidden behind the curtain of wealth and privilege, or a facade of populist right-wing bullshit and lies. Most will in the end, support the GOP regardless.

B. Baked-in Republican hubris prevents them from ever admitting error or malfeasance and most traditional GOP voters will never vote any other way than Republican, like lemmings. Just think about W and also the shit show of insane Republicans that keep getting reelected over and over.

C. Republican influence over many of our religious institutions is unlikely to shift due to international events and that support is rock-solid. The only GOP people more hard headed and neck-deep in right-wing hubris than GOP politicians are Evangelical preachers and deacons.

Far too many Americans and foreign observers have been fooled to only seeing the GOP as what's seen on the surface from media but again, that's only a facade. The real hulk of the GOP is hidden from view, mostly in think tanks and corporate board rooms with very deep pockets.

So, for the millionth time, we simply must never become complacent and GOTV and we win.

KY rant done.
