I am no military expert but it seems kind of dumb to send 40 miles of military vehicles up one road

that could get blocked and the ENTIRE convoy stuck. Which has happened. They are saying Ukraine has hit it and I believe they said a downed bridge has blocked it. That area of Ukraine is also about the only place with a crap load of dense forests preventing the convoy from going off road on wide open farmlands covering most of the country. I did hear that everything is thawing and so the ground is super muddy everywhere making it hard for even tanks to go through the mud. They could have split that convoy up 40 times and had 40 separate convoys 1 mile long going in to Ukraine on 40 different roads. Instead they aren't getting really any benefit from that 40 miles of vehicles and they may lose the entire convoy before long.

Despite the convoy, most everyone following the war is well aware of cities bring bombed. And we know because the media reports it. There have been numerous threads here discussing it

4. Seems 10 miles of vehicles would have accomplished that.

And there is still plenty of attention to what is going on all over Ukraine.

We can hope that the early problems with troop movements will perhaps result in some kind of pact. I don’t see Russia leaving without something like portions of Ukraine along Russian border. But, who knows?

something which I had not been aware of before. Unlike many of the other American military aircraft which are commonly known, widely produced, and decades old... the A-10 has only ever been operated by the US. None of our allies have them. Not even NATO allies. Not a single one, not a single plane, ever. At least according to Wikipedia.

And we all know what 'assume' stands for - (making an ass out of you and me.)

He forgot about one of the principle rules of Military Engagements - no plan survives contact with the Enemy.
