This is Ukraine's fight

You don't enact a no-fly zone unless you are prepared to enforce it. And you will likely have to enforce it deep in the Eastern Bloc. And if you enforce it, it's WWIII. This isn't advanced chess strategy, it's basic checkers.

We are glorified cheerleaders on this one.

Which is located thousands of miles away.

A NATO enforced no fly zone could cause the war to spread all over eastern Europe and lead to the death of many, many thousands of European civilians.

The fucking former president was planning on pulling out of NATO in his 2nd term.

The Putin Party (GQP) talking point for the election will be that president Biden should have done more and I am seeing that same exact talking point being repeated here over and over again.

The fucking Putin Party is not pro-Ukraine, is not anti-Putin, it has flipped merely because internal polling told them to flip. The Putin Party is still run by Donald Trump, a Putin puppet.

That's our position and it is the correct position. TFG was weak on NATO and that position hasn't aged well.

Putin has an invasion force, and we have sanctions. It's asymmetrical and that's just how it is. You can't always get what you want when it comes to the Eastern Bloc.

Putin has an invasion force and we have sanctions sure sounds to me like you think that we are not helping Ukraine militarily?

I must say that our involvement in helping Ukraine began before Putin invaded. We advised and trained people in Ukraine, even advised them how to fight an urban warfare fight. We are also constantly providing Ukraine with intelligence information, on Russian troop movements and the like. We have sent Ukraine weapons to fight with and last but not least, president Biden spearheaded the movement to solidify and strengthen NATO. NATO countries have jumped on board supplying weapons to Ukraine and yes NATO members have jumped on board with sanctions which are important because the only way that Putin will be stopped is if the Russian people revolt, that is what scares Putin and that fear came from sanctions.

I've moved past "bargaining" and "depression" and have settled in on "acceptance".

There is still an alarming level of support for a NATO no-fly zone, however ( "denial"/"anger" ). I'm making a case for moving on.
