Well! It's gonna a lot more expensive for everything?

In 24 hours diesel fuel has jumped from $4.449 to $4.849 a gallon at the Love’s truck stop here in Liberal KS. I came thru here yesterday on my way to Amarillo TX and I’m picking up a load here Liberal tomorrow! I hope they don’t blame Biden for the fuel, but they will?

I make that journey once or twice a year. I like overnighting in Liberal on the way home. A couple of restaurants there that I like.

Either pay extra or head to Ukraine to join the battle.
That's the choice.
Otherwise we suck it up & be grateful we live comfortably in our home, see our friends & family, sleep in our bed at night in the USA & not in Ukraine.

Everything is going up. This morning on CNN there was a report about rising wheat prices and shortages in the US. I did a good business selling bread during the height of the pandemic when stores were out of ready made and ingredients. Time to stuff the pantry (again).

I'm convinced FB and Twitter and YT is the only way they can flood a message zone so quick is with bots inside Russia and NK

costing me nigh unto a thousand dollars to fuel up, thinking of parking one of my trucks to cut down costs until this mess with Putin is resolved.

Remember, keep the shiny side up and the rubber side down and don't feed the bears.

Was at a relatives recently, not a Trumpanzee, but one of these "Country Club" type Retrumplicans.

His wife asked me what I thought would happen to gas prices.

I got a bit "testy" because the way it was asked, you just know she was salivating about blaming Biden.

A couple of things.

First, I am pretty sure she hasn't given a damn how much a gallon of gas costs since she married my wealthy relative.

Second, their government provided pensions allow them a quiet life in a gated community, whose only worry is whether a temporary loss if power would sour the brie.

I looked at her and said; "I don't know. What is the price of freedom and democracy? Would you pay $10 a gallon, $100...would you quit driving if it would stop Putin?" "What price is too much for the priceless"?

I would like to think she "fucked around and found out"

I know that my relatives are not like middle class and poor folks where the price of gas can fucking ruin them

But, I also know that at one time in this country, we willingly sacrificed to stop fascism and tyranny.

It shouldn't be about what economic price we are willing pay.

It should be about whether or not what we have is worth paying for.

I'm okay with it though I do hope the costs come down eventually. Talk is they are going to go up higher.
