but in time I fear Putin will use whatever he can to lay waste to a country he has no friggin' right to. Tactical nukes would be my guess. Sure as hell hope I'm wrong though. Best hope is still for the Oligarchs to pull the plug on crazy boy's sorry ass.

Russia, the US, and the UK all agreed to the Budapest Memorandum with Ukraine, giving security assurances in return for Ukraine divesting its nuclear arsenal. The obligations of imposed by that agreement regarding the current conflict are murky but, the way I read it, if Russia attacks Ukraine with nuclear weapons or even threatens to do so, the US and UK are obligated to assist Ukraine's defense.

they blew it our of the sky. Let that be a lesson to them. They have Stinger missiles to clear the sky, and Javelin missiles to clear the ground.
