1. Self serving kick for the night crew 😁

This all started with a post by DU’s Swede of a Russian helicopter being downed in Ukraine …

and the fact it had musical accompaniment I had to wonder, why this song ?
It’s almost like it’s scripted for a bigger picture …

So I went in search of the song, looking for music recognition apps, found I had one already on my iPhone due to latest iOS download … Shazam !
Which didn’t recognize the song at first, but I rubbed it right eventually, and with the song title could search YouTube etc
It’s apparently a national folk song of Ukraine and the version is a recent remix by Boombox, of a song by Kiffness, whose lead singer quit a US tour to return to Ukraine and volunteer to fight for his country under attack by Russians … or so this latest vid leads me to believe … the original song was by Kiffness (Kyivness) and remixed by Boombox
as best as I can determine …
