do you remind them that you are their employers and pay their salaries?
Just a simple, "As the person that pays your salary would you explain your vote/reasoning for voting the way you did?"
So far I get nothing in reply, hoping you do better.

(7,512 posts)same thing when I call. In Texas they know they are pretty much "untouchable" so they really don't care. In fact it seems that the nastier they get the more support they seem to get. WTF can you do?

(8,262 posts)They get auto emails from every group under the sun. There is no way for them to respond. Organizations like the NRA, The AARP, the Independent Insurance Agents, the Chamber of Commerce, the NEA, All of the Unions have auto emails of membership that overwhelm the ability to read and respond to email.
According to the House CAOs office, the Capitol get over 5 million calls per year and email dwarfs the number of calls. I have not heard a number for email, but with one key stroke thousands of emails are sent each day.
Each congressional office can not have more that 18 full time and 4 part time staff members to answer that volume.
