Israel visited Moscow on Saturday

Here's a link to a news site report:

https://www.newyorker.com/news/daily-comment/ties-with-russia-compromise-israels-stance-on-ukraine

Zelensky begged Israel more than once for its anti missile system (not even the best one they have) but Israel has refused. They are attempting to be a "broker" of peace. I don't think a lot of these countries have any idea that Putin is not going to stop until he has crushed Ukraine into rubble.

Zelensky requested that Israel host a meeting with Russia, so that's okay. I guess they had to go to Moscow for it. But, it is unrealistic for them to think that Putin will change or compromise his intent. I think he is just posturing for the optics.

Israel, your lack of military aid to a country that is actively and currently being blown to bits by an invader is duly noted. If they can't control the bombers by 1) a no-fly zone, or 2) a superior anti aircraft system, then they are going to be bombed to rubble.

I understand that perhaps Israel doesn't want their defensive technology captured and reverse engineered by a potential enemy. Everyone understands that. But, this is not their best anti aircraft system. They have another one in the top five of the world's anti aircraft systems.

I am hoping that something Putin says to Israel will reverse their feelings of trying to hang on to commerce and safety for themselves, and they lighten up enough to help kick Putin in the balls.

The Israel government should be ashamed ...but it has deals with Russia brokered while Trump was President and busy getting Israel everything they wanted against the Palestinians.

because it shows that the position Israel is taking is intricately related to Syria. I don't pretend to understand the whole thing. I only know that I want Ukraine to prevail, and that the whole world could be involved in a WW. Russia is calling the shots at this point.

The USA has some kind of joint anti missile project going with Israel. If it works, it will be amazing. Also, there is something in the works against the Iskander.

I am sorry that tRump became pResident. He was a Russian asset, a mob guy, and not fit for the Presidency. I didn't vote for the bastard. I am hoping to fight off both tRump and the GOP in November and 2024.

One thing we can agree on: Ukraine did nothing to provoke the Russian invasion. If they had a beef with some portion of the country, well, so do we in ours. But, Russia went there and encouraged them. He flat out stole Crimea. He stole parts of Moldova, and Georgia. And now, he wants the Azov Sea, and all the sea access. So, he invaded to take all of Ukraine. All on false flags.

If only they could control the bombing, perhaps they could hang on.

when that country is in dire need of it for its existence.

1. As if Israel never was in that position.
2. An anti-missile system that was partially financed with my tax dollars.
