(29,199 posts)MS could be in the mix although usually it first affect extremities like hands shaking and balance.
Not a doctor but from that performance, he needs to see one if he hasn't.

(64,990 posts)I have had MS since 1995, so I'm pretty well versed on the symptoms.
I thankfully went into deep arrest because of early response. It barely affects me, other than a blind left eye & constant burning in the feet.
But, purpose tremors are a fairly rare symptom in MS until one gets well into a progressive form.
Since it affects the legs the most, patients with significant small muscle tremors have more substantial large muscle effects, as in walking.
Seems a low likelihood it's MS

(36,412 posts)The dentist, Gosar, pooh-poohed all the mercury warnings back in the day
PCIntern
(25,520 posts)No dentist of my vintage or younger exhibits anything like mercury poisoning. Amalgam has been in premixed capsules almost universally during my entire career and after mixing in the triturator there is virtually zero free mercury. And even if there were it is not tossed on the floor anymore and picked up through the soles of the shoes as it was in the old days.
Brother Buzz
(36,412 posts)I mistakenly understood mercury vapors were a problem.
So I'll assume he DOES have syphilis and is treating himself with mercury; he's that stupid.

(54,338 posts)Trump was rightfully trashed for mocking someone in the 2016 campaign. Maybe the Republicans thought this was an act, too, but I suspect Gosar wont be invited to make too many public campaign speeches from here on in.

(9,998 posts)Thank you for going all the way back to 2000. Thats when Democracy jumped the shark in America. I pretty much lost respect for this country when the Supreme Court issued their Bullshit ruling.

The world has changed a lot in those 20+ years. So much of it because of election 2000!

(17,149 posts)EDIT: Since this seems to be somewhat of an interesting topic to some, and a few people have found this post long after the fact, I want to clarify some things.
We should not be diagnosing people if we are not qualified to do so.
Some context: During a David Pakman live stream, we watched Gosar speaking in Arizona. A lot of people in Twitch/YouTube chat were making jokes about his head movements being weird or creepy etc. and David said he wasnt going to comment on that because it may be some neurological issue like Parkinsons. Now, I think Gosar is a disgusting person for the ideas and opinions he puts into the world, but I agreed with David we shouldnt make fun of conditions people have no control over. So out of curiosity, I googled if he had any illnesses or disorders but found little to nothing. What I did find was many accounts of him denying anything was happening, and several reporters pointing out his unusual hand motions and possible attempts to hide them by keeping them in his pockets all the time. ......

(16,357 posts)It sounds like Parkinson's is a likely culprit. Those writhing movements could also point to Huntington's disease.
Whatever it is, he seems to be determined to hide/deny there's anything wrong with him, but I'm not buying it. Not after watching that video.

(9,998 posts)Im surprised nobody has tweeted Gosar with the clip of TFG mocking Mr. Kovaleski. I know how much Gosar respects Dump, so he would definitely appreciate the humor.

(9,998 posts)I agree that we should not stoop to the level of these Cretins, but I think that's quite different from reminding them of how their IDOLS & CULT LEADERS treat and comment on people with similar disabilities to theirs. Turnabout is fair play. What's good for the goose is good for the gander. I'm tired of these Hypocritical Pieces Of Excrement, and how they treat others, but then expect respect for themselves.
Sounds like he's too big a fucking coward to admit to any problem he might have. Wouldn't want to appear less than perfect to his minions I guess.

(2,341 posts)But my google research indicates that this is a description of symptoms, with many possible causes.
I keep wondering if 1) its progressive or maybe the ops video is just showing worse symptoms because of stress which is a thing, and/or 2) if he had it as a child, which would explain why he said every teacher I ever had called me stupid.

Extra pyramidal side effects I think?
luvs2sing
(2,220 posts)Its a common side effect of antipsychotic meds. Not sure if the new ones still cause it but, when I worked in mental health in the 80s, it was a huge problem.

(9,998 posts)I had no doubt that he would take the opportunity upon recovering, to Double Down, and he did!
But for his position, he might now be dead, and the world would be an infinitely better place for it.
Same could be said about Gosar, so I wish him nothing but suffering.
