3. Looking at the results so far in Ukraine, Putin can't have too much faith in his military.

He can't believe that his military would succeed against NATO in a ground war. He also has to understand that no one wins a nuclear war.

I wonder what the play book is for such a thing.

I have to think that if we thought Putin was going nuclear that we would try to take him out before he could do it and then hope we could reason with the other Russian leaders to not escalate.

I don't know what else we could do.
