Republicans Threaten to Slow Aid to Ukraine
March 6, 2022 at 7:41 am EST By Taegan Goddard

“Senate Republicans have issued a series of early threats against a still-forming deal to fund the federal government, signaling that they could delay the package — which may include emergency aid to Ukraine — over concerns about excessive spending and vaccine mandates,” the Washington Post reports.

Alert the media and conduct open hearings RFN - while sentiment against Russia and pro-Ukraine is red-hot.

Trying to do the right thing while making Biden and Democrats look bad. They can't let the President look effective and successful in any situation. "How can we play this to make us look good and Biden look bad?" They will politicize anything. They are always campaigning, rarely governing.

but I have a small bone to pick with her. She calls certain Republicans the Putin wing of the party, I disagree, every Republican (maybe Romney gets a pass) is a member of the Putin party.

Donald Trump, a Putin puppet, a Russian asset, is the head of the Putin party confirmed by his winning the CPAC straw poll.

The entire Republican party should be called the Putin party, none of them will denounce Donald Trump.

The entire Putin party is only denouncing the war in Ukraine and denouncing Putin because their internal polling tells them to do so. They are already beginning to blame president Biden for not doing more which shifts the blame away from Putin.

The Putin party wants American to be just like Russia so that it can keep its minority rule, they even take trips to Russia on the 4th of July, was that a sign of things to come, a new independence day?

The traitor label should be hung around each and everyone's necks.

This DU post has a list of private charities and relief organizations that are unconnected with the US government.

Also many major US cities have Jewish Family and Community Services which provides Ukrainian refugees with legal assistance and help finding places to live etc. (link) https://www.jfcspgh.org/services/immigration-legal-services/

Many major US cities have Ukrainian Catholic churches that are collecting funds for Ukrainian refugee relief. (I live in Pittsburgh where there are 3 such churches.) Google-search for Ukrainian Catholic Churches in your area.

We all need to help however we can!

After Dotard raised the national debt by umpteen trillion$?

Such a sense of irony and hypocrisy.

Play footage of refugees fleeing shelling and ask they why they thought playing politics with these people’s lives was the right thing to do. Ask them to find a Bible quote to justify their answer.

and tying it to COVID aid is an automatic hold up. I really hope congress considers passing a quicker, stand alone bill, and then a separate covid bill. Doing otherwise is politicizing the lives of Ukrainians.
