we do, I would be willing to pay a Free Ukraine import tax.

natural gas Europe uses.
If I were in Europe, I'd be happy to pay a higher tax to support Ukraine.

Ireland's imports are mostly from the UK. but with more than a quarter of the natural gas used coming from a field off the coast of County Mayo.

(19,956 posts)5. I suspect that UK supply is fed on from somewhere else though.
That Irish supply is from the Corrib gas field, which caused massive fights when they built the terminal for it. There's definitely going to be a facility to land gas tanker ships on the west coast after this.
