Zelenskyy was really hoping that Chump would come through with the help that was promised - military aid and materiel. Chump just dicked him around. But eventually Ukraine did receive help from us, it was just insulting the way Chump treated him.

He wasn't going to release the aid to the Ukraine that was allotted to them by Congress until Zelenzky would publicly say that he found some dirt on Hunter Biden. He didn't have to be specific, but just release the statement so it would get to the voters before the election. Thankfully, Zelenzky had too much integrity to do that.

Zelenskyy had just been elected President only one month before. Rudy told him, we want to send you the aid but we need something first. Zelenskyy knew it was a shakedown, he's not stupid. He called a press conference and told the world what Rudy said to him. After that, Zelenskyy came to Washington and that's this meeting here. Chump already knew that Zelenskyy wasn't going to play along, and that's why he was so insulting.

Here's the thing, in the summer of 2019 nobody knew that Joe Biden would be the Dem candidate to run against Chump. That didn't happen until the next year. It's further proof that Chump and Rudy are just total dicks, and they're incredibly stupid besides.
