It is so overwhelming - thoughts on the best recipients of donations?

Where the largest percentage of the donation goes to where it is actually needed?

For medical, we are thinking Doctors without Borders.

But for humanitarian needs - the refugees, needed supplies, food, etc - so many options.

Has anyone done good research on this and can provide some best recomendations?

I couldn't resist. Howdy neighbor!

You asked a very good question. There are so many good groups administering aid, and some good suggestions so far. I got an email with a few suggestions I'm sharing, since you asked.

Here are a few group to consider for those who have not had a chance to donate or for those who are moved to do even more. There are many others; these are just suggestions. Thank you for considering this request.
Joint Distribution Committee
Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS)
Save the Children-Ukraine
Doctors without Borders in Ukraine

As noted, there are so many groups helping in so many ways. It's up to each of us to give where our heart leads. I appreciate the pet help.links provided, and am inclined to donate there.

We decided tonight that it would be Doctors without Borders, and Save the Children - it just seems like such a tiny thing, but I guess lots of tiny things can make a difference. How awful it is to feel so disconnected and helpless watching the horrors unfold.
