5. My Russian Language Professor Would Be Proud!

She was a Ukrainian émigré, whose family came to the US after WWII by lying and saying they were Polish. She was a tough old broad, but fair. I loved her to pieces, but knew not to f*ck with her. I'm so glad that she didn't live to see this tragedy.

What the russians (small r intended) did to Chechen fighters in that conflict was brutal; what they did to female fighters was unspeakable. These women should all have some means to quickly end it if they are facing capture. And a pact to take each other out if too injured to do it themselves. I suspect these women do; they look like pure steel.
