it certainly sounds genuine in that it's clear the Russian expectation was for a very brief invasion period followed by quick collapse of the Ukrainian government. That seems to be all they planned for. It's been a clusterfuck for them.

He talks about doing an analysis without the relevent facts, and that sure sounds about right. If you control the input you can determine the output (conclusions).
